Matt Wigler is a pianist, organist, singer, and songwriter originally from Baltimore, Maryland and currently based in Miami, Florida.  He has performed at many world renowned venues including The Kennedy Center, The Strathmore Music Center, The Adrienne Arsht Center and The Detroit Music Hall.  Matt studied jazz piano performance at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City and the Frost School of Music at University of Miami.  He is an alumnus of the University of Miami.   

In 2010, Matt was selected as an Artist in Residence at Strathmore, a world class music center in the Washington DC area.

Matt’s recording “Epiphony”, released July 2009, was nominated for best jazz CD by the Washington DC Area Music Association. 

Matt has played piano and Hammond B3 organ on a variety of studio projects, based in the regions of Miami, FL, Washington DC, and New York City.  

Matt has performed at festivals throughout the US and in Canada including the Monterey Bay Blues Festival (CA), Beaches International Jazz Festival (Toronto), Telluride Jazz Festival (CO), Chesapeake Bay Blues Festival (MD), North Atlantic Blues Festival (ME), Motor City Blues and Boogie Woogie Festival (MI), and Artscape (MD).
